Involved with free/improvised music since 1974, my
musical collaborators have included LaDonna
Smith, Paul Lytton, Keith Rowe
( AMM),
Alan Silva and Peter
Kowald.
Beyond the aural, I have repeatedly delved into
experimental theater and multidimensional art, creating twelve major
interdisciplinary works (six in collaboration), and contributing to a number of
other pieces in capacities as director, choreographer, technical designer,
actor and composer. My artistic pursuit recombines formal and emergent
elements in the laboratory of performance, as if honing a knife to cut from
the air fresh revelations. |
